Small baluster- shaped vase in glazed stoneware , hand - decorated with stylized floral motifs in brown, cobalt blue , and red on a cream ground . The thick, slightly runny glaze and free- brush design are characteristic of the Scandinavian Art Deco aesthetic. The base is marked “ 614 ” hand - incised , and bears a triangular stamp “ L DANMARK , ” probably related to a Danico sub- workshop or a regional Danish workshop active in the 1930s . A decorative piece full of character , representative of the Danish ceramic tradition of the early 20th century .
